havent played the game... so I cant give much of an opinion..
i was going to buy it.... still have to get around to that.

I love it. I dont own it but Ive played it TONS, Multiplayer is more fun than singles play. But as far as eSports, I wouldnt bet on it. I am sure there is some comp. scene but like Starcraft (the original) there wont be much of a future

What are you trying to say? Starcraft is still huge, maybe not that much in North America as say, South Korea, but its still huge.

ESWC this year. :P

The problem with competition is that the versus mode is sort of polarized. The zombie team gets infinite respawns while the humans have one life each. Granted the zombies are weaker (well, except the tank). I just think it'd be hard to make competitive.
Awesome game, though.

It is actually doing well competitively I think, except for CEVO's whole tournament setup wasn't the smartest to keep teams active. But there is already going to be a L4D 2, so let's see where that takes us in the competitive area.
