I'm 17 and a month old in 3 days and I do not have a drivers license nor do i have a permit nor did i take drivers ed. FML.

the funny thing is... i dont have a car. yay for train rides! lol

i used to have a car.. then i got in an accident and had to sell it. repairs were too much and insurance was under my parents name at the time.

That's easy mayne. Go to your local DMV and ask for the drivers handbook, and read it cover to cover, and go in and take the written test. Easiest shit ever. Then you have your permit ;)

its about, 50 pages. it doesnt look very big/long, from the outside............

Nah. boring black and white photos mostly. Oh, but the road signs are in color.

The first like 20 pages are "if you are a native american/women/african/japanese/crippled/blind/etc this stuff might help you" and then you have the "for a standard class C lincesnse you can't drive a car over 10 tons" which made me wonder; do cars even come in the 10 ton variety? The rest of the book is pretty common sense.
