Quake Live AlienWare Event Coverage

AlienwareArena.com - Alienware Arena's first event - the PC Gaming Season Open for Quake Live - is over. Justin "Web" Haynes gives you a brief rundown.

QUAKE LIVE ALIENWARE EVENT!

QuakeLive is certainly becoming a more intriguing game for sponsors and the competitive gaming scene. Long time Quake players that didn't have the opportunity to travel to lans, shell out cash for expenses and pay ridiculous entry fees, now have a chance to prove they are the best. Yesterday, computer giant Alienware hosted the PC Gaming Season Open for Quake Live, which was streamed live by Marcus "dJWHEAT" Graham, and Rod "Slasher" Breslau. We are slowly making our way into a new wave of eSports, with demos being readily available and broadcasts going directly through Pwnage.tv! Alienware has been doing some good things for the community, and this seems to just be the start of things to come. Stay tuned!

The winners of each division are as follows:

West:
1.) Allmental
2.) Gaven "whaz" Sorensen
3.) fakeid / plague

Midwest:

2.) Chance "chance" Lacina
3.) lonewulf / everkill
