Evolution Joins CompLexity, Savior Backup
DALLAS, Texas - Today the CompLexity Syndacite made another roster announcement. However rather than a wholesale change, it involves just one roster spot: David "savi0r" Park out, Scott "evolution" Cavallero in.
With coL currently sitting atop the ESEA-Invite standings, this move may seem a little odd.
However, the Syndacite has already claimed that there was no internal squabbling. Savi0r is simply returning home to dedicate more time to his family.
Evolution has a rich 1.6 background, playing on the likes of Frag Dominant, EG, MoB and Winout. He'll move into the storied coL house this Sunday, in what begins a new era for CompLexity gaming. Alex "JaX" Conroy, the CDO of CompLexity, thinks that Scott will have an immediate effect to the team.
"I am very excited to see the immediate impact Scott's skill will have on this team. The squad is #1 in the country right now and Scott's ability will only further that margin of success. His past experience with Ryan, in which he proved he was capable of handling all international challengers, was an integral part of this decsion. Beyond that, his passion for winning is exactly what we look for in Complexity. Scott, like all of us here, does not settle for second best. We would also like to wish David the best of luck as he focuses his attention on things outside of CS for the time being. He is a great guy and will remain a good friend to the team, as well as on our roster for the time being."
This is just one of the myriad of roster moves the professional Counter-Strike scene has endured this season.
Teams are always adapting to the fast moving environment in an attempt to bring North American CS back to the top. We'll see if Scott Cavallero is the answer, or if this is just another song in the musical chairs of the community.
Sucks for savior but I think it was for the best.
