INSIDER ESPORTS - Is Wii Streaming on the way?

Wii stream; Coming to a console near you, or somewhere in your house.  Wii jokes aside, this could be something huge for Nintendo and its Wii owners.

Lionsgate head of digital distribution, Curt Marvis, is looking at the Wii for streaming movies and a source for digital distribution. In a statement on Kotaku.com, Marvis states,
 
“The thing that is clearly a force in digital are the game devices. I think when we see the Wii come into the market with the ability to stream movies, which I think is maybe going to happen as soon as this year, I think that's going to be a big marketplace for digital distribution.”
 
Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but with the popularity of the Wii and digital distribution on the rise, it’s hard not to think that we could possibly get this confirmed by E3 09.
