INSIDERESPORTS.COM - Jax Money Crew merges its entire organization with Complexity Gaming.
At nearly 11:11 PST on Friday, January 17th, 2009, Jason Lake announced the addition of the Jax Money Crew team to his organization. It is a large move in what he calls a "revival" of what the organization was before. The JMC team will be playing Counter-Strike 1.6, as the competitive atmosphere of Counter-Strike:Source has fallen into the shadows of the eSports world. This announcement comes in light of other changes to Complexity, such as a new website, and more media production.
In the meantime, it was also stated that a major sponsor had become affiliated with Complexity: Creative Technology Ltd.
In a statement, Jason Lake said, "The combination of attitude, work ethic, selfless play and raw skill that this roster possesses will give our fans one hell of a fun ride in 2009. It will take them some time to get back into 1.6 form, but this organization is patient and relentless" (GotFrag.com).
The players, according to interviews, are confident and eager for the team to get started in their quest to become the best Counter-Strike 1.6 players in North America.
The roster for Complexity's 1.6 team is as follows:
1. Justin "sunman" Summy
2. Mike "method" So
3. David "zid" Chin
4. Sal "Volcano" Garozzo
5. Erik "da_bears" Stromberg
Another announcement was made at the same time, which was that Jason Bass, a very talented publicity director and manager, has joined Complexity's staff. He was previously with CEVO and The CGS.
