KOTAKU.com - Former electronics-giant Circuit City will soon be going the way of The Wiz as bankruptcy has led them to close their stores throughout America.
In the age of Best Buy and Circuit City, one store will soon reign supreme. Following their claim of bankruptcy in 2008, Circuit City has already closed over 150 stores in the United States of America. Despite looking desperately for financial backing, 2009 will spell the end of the second largest electronics retailer in America.
Scheduled to close the remaining 567 stores in the United States, over 30,000 jobs will be lost as this corporate entity will disappear into the wind. One of the hardest hit in America's toughest recession yet, unemployment continues to hit home as the economy hangs on a thin wire.
