INSIDERESPORTS.COM - World Cyber Games announces a new venture called "Ultimate Gamer", a competition involving many different games and players.

Ever wondered what it would be like for gamers to compete in both virtual reality and the real world?  Well, WCG is bringing it to you, via your T.V.  The show will be aired on the SCI-FI channel.  There are twelve contestants, they will compete together, for a chance at the $100,000.00 prize and the ability to travel with WCG all around the world.   Gamers have to compete in many different video games, in order to show their versatility and talent.  Plus, there is a new twist to the competition, the real world aspect of it.  Players participate in the games, brought to life!  Popular titles such as Halo, Gotham Racing, and more, will be brought to the table for intense battle in the two different realities.  

The show will be a social experiment, too.  Gamers will have to live together during their tenure at WCG Ultimate Gamer, and it will be in a dramatic fashion.  The end prize could lead some to behave irratically, while others might be there to try their best and do it without stress.  The requirement to live with other gamers is sure to be a shocking - not to mention - a thrilling scene.  

The preview WCG displays is one that shows us the different characteristics of what will be occuring in the competition.  Judges utter striking phrases, contestants are on their toes trying to keep ahead of their fellow peers, and new stages of the Ultimate Gamer are revealed in an impressive way.  Interviews of players show just how fierce the battle for the final prize really is.

The show premiers in March 2009, and as said before, it will be on the SCI-FI channel.
