INSIDER ESPORTS - Alex Conroy and Jax Money Crew announce Counter Strike 1.6 roster consisting of Michael "Method" So, Salvatore "Volcano" Garozzo, Erik "da bears" Stromberg, Justin "Sunman" Summy and David "zid" Chin.
On December 26th, Jax Money Crew confirmed their 2009 roster, as stated on their website. The roster consists of Michael "Method" So, Salvatore "Volcano" Garozzo, Erik "da bears" Stromberg, Justin "Sunman" Summy and David "zid" Chin.
In a quote given to GotFrag.com, Alex Conroy stated that "the afternoon CGS died, I was on vent with David and Justin. Upon hearing the news, they obviously didn't want to wear the Venom tag anymore, so David was actually the first to change his name to JMC. We had no real plans at that point, but the guys wanted a team for the immediate future. After about a day of deliberation, we decided the organization would move back to 1.6, and I would build a team beginning with those two.”
The pickups of Michael “Method” So and Salvatore “Volcano” Garozzo all but confirm that Team 3D is no more. Alex stated to GotFrag.com that "As far as 3D's future, it's really not my place to comment. They were a great organization that pushed esports forward in North America. At this point, Craig Levine is running ESEA and Dave is doing work in Austin, so I am not sure who would manage it."
Stay tuned to Insider eSports as we work to get interviews with the players as well as more updates from the JMC organization.
