INSIDER ESPORTS - The eight teams set to battle it out in Chengdu, China for Asia's bragging rights have been announced.

The Extreme Masters Asia Continental Finals, set to take place January 16th-18th in Chengdu, China will provide an invitation for two of Asia's finest CS teams to participate in the Extreme Masters World Finals.  The World Finals, slated to take place during the annual CeBIT Convention in Hannover, Germany in March, would pit these two qualifying Asian teams against the world's greatest.  Interestingly, this will be the first year that North American Counter-Strike teams will be in participation at this World Final.

The invited team list is as follows:

e-STRO - Korea
Lunactic-Hai - Korea
Seoul Jinhwa - Korea
TitaNs eSports - Singapore
ExsequoR - Singapore

The prize pot has also been set for this event, with a whopping $50,000 dollars to be divided up amongst the top placing teams.  And with $25,000 going to the first place finisher, teams will not be settling just for a spot in the World Finals; the gap in earnings between first and second is just too good of an oppertunity to pass up for these striving Asian CS teams.
