WCG USA Groups Drawn
WCG usa gets it’s groups drawn
The national final of the host country - the united states - has had it’s groups drawn with two groups of four teams being separated and only two of the top eight teams will be able to advance to the bracket stage and out of that bracket only one will be able to compete int he grand finals which will be held only miles away from the nationals in the LA convention center later this month.
Group A seems to be less than stacked with two clear favorites to be shown, with the ex-coL PoV.wp and WinOut both being in the same group and no real opponents in the group outside of the mix supreme, but with so little practice one can question whether they can really compete.
Evil Geniuses and Loaded are in the other group with Ruins, who have been playing quite well in the recent months, all being in group B. The clear favorites are EG, despite missing their regular strat caller Tomi “Lurppis” Kovenan being out due to the fact that he can not be used as he is a finnish citizen and will be using Travis "tuBBy" Bechtol instead.
