wCrea drop their danish roster due to a dispute with the naming of the team in WCG
wCrea - a new french organization - has gone through two rosters in four months first by losing their french team to disbandment and being picked off by bigger french organization, and now this time by a dispute over the name used by the danish lineup for the WCG grand finals. According to the organization WCG wanted the team to use the name Team Denmark - instead of using the sponsors name wCrea - and has thus been dropped by the organization.
However, as seen by the statement below, the team itself see it another way as Team coach Marc "MarcK" Kjærgaard told HLTV.org:
"Today we have parted ways with the wCrea organisation. The decision was pretty easy for us. We have had a lot of discussions and arguments with Julien "Wats" Duarte in the last couple of days.
We will not comment on specific situations, but let’s just say, that we were very unhappy about the commitment and willingness to help the team as much as possible.
Even though our main focus at the moment is our participation in World Cyber Games, we are looking forward to finding a good and healthy organisation that will support us in any way possible."
wCrea had:
Jack "wazorN" Henriksen
Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen
Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Michael "Friis" Jørgensen
Morten "suraNga" Jensen
