Insider eSports would like to wish you a very happy Easter and Holidays.
I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter and if you don't celebrate it, Holiday.
It's been a long year since last Easter's post, but I am still confident in everything we intend to do here at Insider eSports. I recently read the post on CompLexity Gaming about Scott Valencia and the "new" CPL and it really shocked me how so few can take control even when they are definitely not qualified. I have put Insider eSports into various scholarships contests at school and investment groups as well, so hopefully something comes soon to help Insider eSports really become what I promised fifteen months ago.
I promise I am still working -- always working -- on improving the website and lifeforce for gamers everywhere. I think that our media coverage has helped spread news to every gamer, and I know I have personally brought over 100 people into the competitive gaming circle (though some are still nervous to show themselves!)
In the coming months I will finish Version 2 and hopefully recieve some of the near $45,000 I have proposed to various individuals, banks, scholarships, and companies. Even recieving one of them would help put Insider eSports in a strong position moving through the final three quarters of 2010 and into next year. (Yes, there will be a next year.)
Insider eSports, though small in staff, is more than strong in my blood. It has helped me gain internships and praise in college for the work I've tried, and in some ways succeeded, in doing.
I will not be quitting anytime soon -- I think we have much more to do here -- and I just felt that, on this day, I deserved to tell you all. As spring roles in, Insider eSports too will feel a rebirth. Look for Version 2, whether I can finish it myself or I look for help from the many coders who have wanted to do the website, as Insider eSports' time.
Thank you and have a great Holiday.
