The final event of the Intel Extreme Masters is about to begin with $50,000 on the line.
The Intel Extreme Masters – run by one of the best online leagues in the world, the ESL – has reached their Season Four Finals with only 12 Counter Strike teams left to compete in Grand Finals.
The finals, held in Cologne, Germany at CeBit, have $50,000 on the line for first place and a $100,000 total prize pot.
The favorites are between fnatic, who won the event last year, Mousesports, who upset fnatic at IEM European Championship, and the new Frag eXecutors lineup which is looking for a three-peat in two major event titles, having recently gained their second WCG win and the only two time ESWC winner.
American Evil Geniuses has also proven that they can cause upsets when given the chance, and MYM and SK Gaming look like strong contenders for a win as well.
Scores will be updated. Live scoring by ESL is conducted here.
