ESL-America Adds ProMod
The successful release of a working version and strong-future for CS:ProMod ESL's America division has added CS Promod.
CS ProMod - a Counter Strike: Source modification build to keep the source graphics while maintain Counter-Strike 1.6's game play - has been added by the Electronic Sports League's (ESL) American Division.
This is not the first time the newly created version of the mod has been added to the league, as it has been added to European ladders and tournaments for Germany.
The ESL is best known for their Intel Extreme Masters event, which has recently been completed its continental finals, only a month before the global finals which will be held in Cologne, Germany.
The ESL is also known for the European Nations Cup (ENC), as well as their ESL Professional Series (EPS), which is held in every major European area, like Germany, the UK, and Scandinavia.
It is unknown, however, whether it will make it into that event any time soon.
